St. Bede School
The thrust toward educational excellence at St. Bede School is one that flows from the belief that each child is a unique human being endowed with special gifts. We believe that each child should be able to develop these gifts and to participate in a learning environment that promotes love of God, love of nature, and love of self.
We believe that a truly Catholic-Christian education aids in the development of responsible persons who will make meaningful contributions to a faith community and to an interdependent world.
St. Bede provides a supportive environment, a challenging curriculum rich in gospel values, opportunities for concrete acts of service, and meaningful activities and athletics that will enable each child to maximize his/her academic potential.
The school services over 300 students in grades Preschool 3 through 8th. It follows the curriculum standards of the Diocese of Pittsburgh and the State of Pennsylvania and is accredited by the Middle States Association.
