The St. Bede Senior Citizens group promotes a spirit of fellowship among adults 55 years or older. We have been active in the parish and the surrounding community for over 25 years.
During our gatherings, we share time and talents with each other; it is an excellent opportunity to interact with peers. Members bring their own lunches to the meeting. Coffee and dessert are provided. After lunch, the group often enjoys a game of Bingo.
In addition to the monthly meetings, special luncheons are held twice a year. In October the group meets at the Crow’s Nest for a delicious lunch. In December, the group has a Christmas party. The location of this festive celebration varies from year to year.
The group welcomes all seniors who live in the community, regardless of faith and regardless of whether they are registered in the parish.
The group meets on the first Tuesday of every month at noon from March through December. There are no meetings in January and February due to the possibility of inclement weather. Meetings are held in the St. Bede Adult Meeting Room located off the gym at the corner of South Dallas Avenue and Willard Street.
The Saint Bede Senior Citizens Group looks forward to welcoming you at their next meeting!
